Looking for a fun, feminist, way to get nasty? Look no further!
Our next casual-cool party with professional-quality photo opps and socially empowering installations, that raises money for causes we care about. At ROSIE ALL ticket and donation-based bar proceeds go toward LA’s LGBT Center’s TEEP program (more info here) and future NWP programming.
At ROSIE, we invite guests of all gender identities to see themselves in the image of one of our most iconic feminist symbols: Rosie the Riveter. We will highlight the history of Rosie and focus on womxn coming together to do what’s needed, and translate that power and activism into our everyday lives in 2018 and beyond.
Since late 2016 we have been hosting ballin' parties that honor badass feminist leaders from our past and inspire the badass feminist leaders of today. All while raising money for organizations that do amazing work for women. We strive to create a community that is safe, inclusive, and empowering. We know that people do the best when they feel the best, we're here to make you feel good.
The Dolores event
From the Delano Grape Boycotts to the Women's March, our December 2017 honoree, has been a model of community activism, feminism, and plain old badassery. We were so pumped to promote Dolores Huerta and The Dolores Huerta Foundation.
The Michelle Event
In honor of Women's History Month in 2017 we honored the historic First Lady, Michelle Obama. An unbelievable beacon of all things good in this world, her portrait helped us fundraise for The Southern Poverty Law Center.
The Hillary Event
In December of 2016 we held a fundraiser for Planned Parenthood honoring the indomitable Hillary Rodham Clinton. That one event grew into Nasty Women Portraits. We've been striving for nastiness ever since.
